Tension links
Direct tensile-force measurement in the rope termination. Also referred to as a tension rod or load link, every model can be customised.
Measurement principle
A tension link sits directly in the rope termination and takes up the tensile force on the load axis. Four strain gauges (SG) wired as a full bridge pick up the elastic deformation of the load-bearing cross-section and output it as a bridge signal. Because the link is itself part of the load path, no indirect conversion is needed.
The tension rod Type M-0044 is matched to the DEMAG product family and supplied in the rated loads used there. For the M-0040 and M-0060 links, the geometry, eye spacing and connection are tailored to the specific termination.
