Devices

Measurement amplifiers

Convert the voltage signal of a strain-gauge bridge sensor (0.5…2.5 mV/V) into a noise-resistant current-loop signal (4…20 mA). Special variants convert to digital signals such as Profibus, CAN bus, or IO-Link.

Overload protection

Analogue overload protection (R-03xx) for simple cutoff: strain-gauge bridge input, current-loop output to the PLC, up to two configurable relay contacts for overload or slack-rope detection.

Digital overload protection MVD-0485 and the memory-configurable controller SKS-0586 provide up to 22 monitored safety relays, 16 digital switching inputs, eight I/O slots for current loops, and an RS-485 connection. Configuration via display and buttons or via free PC software. The feature set covers load spectrum counter, total-load and radius calculation, cross-comparison, load-curve calculation, and self-diagnostics.

Load spectrum counters

For residual-lifetime determination per FEM 9.511, the calculation basis for series hoists.

Specification

Picking the right device for the installation

A simple winch is often well served by an analogue overload protection; more complex plants with multiple hoists usually call for digital controllers. Every device is pre-configured to your specification before shipment.
