Load spectrum counter

Operating principle

Both units sort the loads that actually occur in operation into FEM 9.755 classes and from those derive full-load hours and residual service life. The classes, thresholds and switching points are set up password-protected directly on the device, and the current residual service life is readable from the display at any time.

Residual service life can be reported via the device display, a serial interface (RS-485), an analogue current signal (4…20 mA), or a relay contact when a configured threshold is reached. This allows the FEM evaluation to be tied into an existing plant control system or maintenance schedule.
